About Me

I’m Paul Arangua, an epidemiologist and prostate cancer researcher with 20 years of experience in clinical research, diagnostics, and patient education. I’ve worked directly with patients, urologists, and oncologists to help interpret biopsy results, PSA trends, and germline and genomic testing, and to guide informed treatment decisions. Through The Prostate Cancer Navigator, I provide clear, personalized support to help patients and their families better understand their diagnosis and confidently navigate their care. I founded The Prostate Cancer Navigator on the belief that no one should face a cancer diagnosis alone or confused. I offer one-on-one virtual or in person consultations to help individuals interpret their diagnosis, understand risk classifications, and explore all available treatment and surveillance paths.

Over the course of my career, I’ve been involved in more than 20 prostate cancer clinical trials and have contributed to over 40 scientific publications focused on prostate cancer. I’ve worked alongside leading experts in urologic oncology, trained physicians and residents on advanced diagnostic and treatment approaches, and helped thousands of men understand their individual risk. My focus has always been on translating complex medical information into clear, practical guidance so patients can make informed decisions that align with their goals and quality of life.
